Title: RetroFreak Gaming Console
Post by: Boshamp on May 19, 2015, 11:08:17 PM
Have any of you guys seen this yet? From what I understand of it, Retron 5 on steroids. 11 different systems and you can download more to it. 12 if you count Famicom to NES conversion

Definitely tempting, with the PC Engine slot.

This looks VERY tempting, perhaps even moreso than the Retron 5.  I like the fact that you can save the games to it from the cart, essentially dumping the ROM to the console itself for future play.  I also like the fact that it is supposed to handle TG-16 and PCE games, as well as SuperGrafx games.  That alone makes it attractive, but the other features really sell it as well.  I could use a PS3 USB controller?  I just happen to have a PS3 Logitech wireless controller that has a USB dongle.  It's a very comfortable controller, and that would make play very easy and smooth.  Custom button mapping?  Awesome.  No NES support is a bummer, but I'm wondering if one could use an adapter to make that work...
