i dunno, how niche our service is and how many collector's really want to use such. I was really in need of such a service. I think the site will grow in the future and the shoutout from MetalJesus has done a lot i guess.

Huh. The All Collections section ( http://www.rfgeneration.com/cgi-bin/collection.pl?action=viewall&firstresult=4801&sort=COLLECTION&type=&searchname= ) shows 97 pages, the first 96 of which lists 50 members each, the last listing 38 as of this post.

Doing the math, the All Collections section has (96 * 50) + 38 = 4838 members.

Where are the remaining 162+ members hiding? What am I missing here?

There is a hide collection option available.
Some users so use it.

They are calculated in the over all stats still.
It is most noticable on games with few owners. When you click the Who Owns This button and see 3 names when 5 people own it then 2 of them are hidden ;)

Oh, so some of them are hiding. But why? What are they afraid of?

You can have collection folders that are private. Perhaps you don't want people asking if you'll sell a particular rare game, since your name was in a list...

Crabby has a copy, but he requires a human soul, before considering giving it up.

How many of those are active?

~2600 members active in the past 6 months. I'd have to come up with a more complex query to see how many of those members have collections with > 0 items owned.
