Title: The 2014 Steam Holiday Sale Post by: Arrrhalomynn on December 30, 2014, 06:44:26 PM It's being going on for a while now. What did you get?
I got (in reverse order): - Spec Ops The Line, I haven't played it yet - Max Payne 3, I haven't played it yet - Battlefield Bad Company 2 Standard Edition, played it for 30 minutes or so. It seems to be alright for what I paid. - ENSLAVED: Odyssey to the West Premium Edition, I quite like this game. Great atmosphere in abandoned New York. I finished it today. - Shadow Warrior, I played it for 42 minutes (according to Steam). It's not bad, but I don't think I'll be playing it again. - Resident Evil 5, I played this for about two hours. It's not that bad, despite awul controls. - Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, I haven't played it yet. - Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, A fun little game. - Banished. I played it for about 7 hours. Straight. Then lost all interest. It's a fun game, but it doesn't seem to be having real goals and goes very slowly. 3DMark - Now I can have a number to say how fast my PC is GT Legends - A serious race car sim, I've only put in an hour or so but it did get me to finally hook up a xbox controller to the PC Space Engineers - A friend really wanted to get this, it went on sale so we each got a copy. I've been playing it a fair amount, it's still early access FTL: Faster Than Light - A friend gifted this to me, put in a couple hours so far Defy Gravity Extended - Bought this game for 14 cents(?) for my wife's account so she can own a game and thus have a 'full' Steam account |
