NOTE: Linux User Picked up Metro 2033 Redux today so I thought I would share my benchmark results of the game here. There is a 'benchmark.sh' file you can run in the game root file directory, it uses your in game video settings for the benchmark config System OS: Arch 64Bit // OpenGL v4.5.0 // Kernel 3.17.1-1-ARCH CPU: i5-750 2.66Ghz OC'd to 3.8Ghz (lynnfield) GPU: eVGA 560 Ti w/ +90Mhz GPU offset and +380Mhz vRAM offset (Driver: 346.22) Game Settings Quality: High SSAA: Off Texture Filtering: AF 4x Motion Blur: Enabled Adv Physx: Off Benchmark Results Max FPS: 200.00 Avg FPS: 63.91 Total Time: 157.43 Frames: 6263 Runs: 2 Title: Re: Metro 2033 Redux Benchmark (Linux) Post by: Arrrhalomynn on December 25, 2014, 12:18:22 PM How does that compare to Windows?
Title: Re: Metro 2033 Redux Benchmark (Linux) Post by: NxCmp on December 25, 2014, 03:29:49 PM When I played single player I was noticing a strange mesh effect on some textures and I think this is due to the fact I only have 1Gb of vRAM and 2Gb is minimum requirement, so I turned the quality from High to Medium and its seems to have corrected the issue and I also upped SSAA to 0.5x so the new results are:
Game Settings Quality: Medium SSAA: 0.5x Texture Filtering: AF 4x Motion Blur: Enabled Adv Physx: Off Benchmark Results Max FPS: 500.00 Avg FPS: 86.33 Total Time: 160.83 Frames: 7483 Runs: 2 |
