Title: Your Game Collection: An Accurate Count
Post by: junkwaffle on July 13, 2014, 06:25:54 PM
Hey, so I was wondering if we (well, you . . . ) can't create an option in the Collection Tools that allows members to see the full true game count of their collections.  As it stands, if I'm not mistaken, the total number of games shown for a given collection is the total number of unique, individual game titles in that collection, but not the total number of actual games owned in the collection.  In other words, if you have 4 copies of Super Mario 64, that counts as one game in the collection.

Can we have it that if you inquire about the total number of games owned in your collection, you can get the true total number of games, rather that the total number of unique games, not counting duplicates.  If someone wants the total number of unique titles in their collection (therefore, all duplicates count as one) then that can be offered, but if someone just wants to know the total number of actual games they own, they should be able to make that inquiry and have duplicates count (hardware and non-game, of course, not counted).

Perhaps this option exists and I don't see how to find it?  Anyway, I, for one, would greatly appreciate learning the true grand total of my collection when sought, not just the total of unique titles.   Is this possible?  Was my explanation unclear?
