Title: Spiderweb Software games Post by: bombatomba on July 18, 2013, 04:02:01 PM Recently I participated in the Spiderweb Software Weekly Humble Bundle, which features some of the most hardcore, old-school PC RPGs every created. Well, my payment got a little crossed and I have ended up with two of these packs of games. I've talked to support and they can disassociate one of them and let me gift it to a friend. So how about it? Anyone want one? PM me the email address you want it sent to and it will be yours. They include 100% DRM free downloads, Steam keys, and downloads for Hint Books and promotional pics. There are downloads for both Mac and Windows. The games include:
All six of the Avernum games, Blades of Avernum (a game that allows for custom content, much of what can be uploaded from the Spiderweb website), Avadon, and the Geneforge Saga (five games). The only games that are not on there is Nethergate: Resurrection and the remake of Avernum 1 (Escape from the Pit). You can look up details at their website (http://www.spiderwebsoftware.com/products.html). UPDATE: Sorry, but I don't think I made clear this is for all the games. I'll let this sit until the end of Friday and if no one wants it I'll just contact the Humble Bundle and figure something else out. Title: Re: Spiderweb Software games Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on July 19, 2013, 03:59:50 PM I'd love them, but I'm not a PC gamer so I left them for others. :'(
Title: Re: Spiderweb Software games Post by: bombatomba on July 20, 2013, 08:18:19 PM Right. The problem is that when I did this the money went all to charity. Although it is only $4 I feel too much like a douche asking for the money back, so I thought I'd try giving them away again. This will give you an unique, unclaimed page to download your games (the Humble Bundle people will email you a URL). All the games are available as Mac and PC-native, DRM-free downloads along with instructions and walkthoughs for each game. There are also Steam keys if that is your thing. All I need is an email to send the Humble Bundle people so they can email the unclaimed game page (much as if you won yourself).
I'll keep it up for a while. All in all these are good games and you basically get them on me. Title: Re: Spiderweb Software games Post by: bombatomba on July 20, 2013, 10:39:55 PM Somebody snapped it up. Wow, that was quick.
