Title: 2600/Collecovision cart storage
Post by: wildbil52 on July 01, 2013, 11:39:08 AM
What do people use for 2600/Collecovision cart storage?  I want them individually separated like in the small plastic game cases you always find them in only bigger.  Does someone make a larger version of that that you can buy several of and put them together on a wall of something?

Wow, that's cool, they just drill into the wall?

Yes sir. They dont need to go on the wall. They came in little blocks that hold 4 carts. I think they where made for 8-Tracks.

Unfortunately, 8-track storage is the way to go.

This route would cost me a fortune. I'd probably be better off making something custom myself. For now, I shall continue to stack. :P

Just thought of something cool I might try. I used to collect military stuff and happened to pick up a few carrying cases for various things. think I have a metal container that was used for transporting grenades that might be able to fit my carts in comfortably. Would just have to make some foam inserts to keep them safe and secure if they fit.

Yo Bil!  Saw this post on AtariAge today. Looks like Best has the woodgrain storage units: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/212753-wtbwttf-atari-cart-storage-skiing-blue-label-variant/

"Best Electronics has those storage units ( not listed on their site though )new old stock ORG500 is the stock # , their $12.00 each (minimum order is $20.00 + shipping)"

"Best has them on sale for I thought was about 9 dollars and they come with their original box."

"Boxed and shrink wrapped. You have to ask for the sale price according to the flyer I have."

I just use one of those CD racks. Nothing too complicated, but easy to pick up at a garage sale for a buck or two
