The clear on the Mario N64 and Zelda N64 is a two part clear in a can. You crack the seal and have 24hrs before it hardens in the can. Cost $20 a can. I usually try to line up a lot of things to clear. The mega man snes and metroid GameCube are just regular clear coat. And I use a coat of wax on them as well. I do have trouble sometimes with the buttons sticking since they have paint on them they don't move as good. I tried waxing them but only kinda works. Ill try and make a how to video for my channel as well. It gets kinda hard to film all the steps while i do the steps ha. I painted my wave bird finally going to shoot a quick video with it and the game cube. Should be sweet. Ill post a link here. I paint it with the base color then when it dries add the decal then spray a few coats of clear over it so you can't really feel it and it seals the decal in
