Title: WIll a nes work on any crt tv. Post by: GamingGuru on June 14, 2013, 02:28:07 PM So i have a old 19 inch RCA CRT TV with Composite Interface ( http://reviews.cnet.com/direct-view-tvs-crt/rca-f19431-19-crt/4507-6481_7-31319037.html <specs) and i was wondering if i would be able to hook up old consoles on it like a Nintendo entertainment System. My n64 works with it so i don't know if that means much. I Apologize for my lack of knowledge on retro gaming i grew up with the ps2 so i am not very knowledgeable on the subject. Any responses would be much appreciated.

Title: Re: WIll a nes work on any crt tv. Post by: techwizard on June 14, 2013, 05:38:13 PM for anything that uses RCA (the red/yellow/white cables) or RF (the screw on cable your tv channels run through), a CRT is much better than an LCD in most cases. typically anything N64/PSX/Saturn generation and older is better on a CRT.
