Who do you think will be in the next Smash Bros?

The way Megaman stuff is going lately I'd be surprised to see him :( He's probably my most wanted too!

I'd like to use all of the characters you listed, especially K Rool. Hmm we had the Ice Climbers, how about Joe & Mac?

I want to see some characters from Pro Wrestling make it in. I'd love to do the head chomp with the Amazon.

We will see Tales characters since it's co devloped by Namco.

I am hoping to See Shulk and Zael.

Shulk has to at least appear in the game.

I am hoping for Mega Man and Travis Touchdown(yes will have to be toned down)

Mio Amakura from Project Zero II & Raymond Bryce from Disaster are my top picks.
A cameo from Xenoblade, Last Story, or Pandora's Tower would also be sweet.

Rumours are swirling about Goku from DBZ joining the Brawl.....I don't know how I would feel about that.

If Goku's in, he'll be my pick. Not a bad choice really, I mean DBZ really made a home for itself on the SNES.

i'm not too familiar with the brawl characters, but aren't they all game based characters? i wouldn't be ok with DBZ characters because they're mainly tv characters that were just ported to a bunch of tv based games.

Mega Man or Mega Man X would be soo awesome for me. Outside that I don't think there is anyone I've been dying to see in the game. I'd like them to choose different pokemon than some of the ones that have made an appearance (I want Gengar). I would have thought Rayman might be a possibility before Ubisoft were jerks with him recently.

With all this love between Sega and Nintendo I wouldn't be surprised if Sonic and Knuckles make an appearance.

That makes a lot of sense. Sonic was a big deal last time around. I could easily see them adding 2 more characters along with him. My hope would be Robotnik and Metal Sonic.

To be blunt due to safe Nintendo these days, I'm expecting Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Link, Toon Link, Ganon, (recentish Pokemon or two), a character from Pikmin 3, character from latest Fire Emblem, Samus, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Pit, a character from Animal Crossing, Wario, Takamaru, Ice Climbers, Kirby, another Kirby character [King Dedede?] and maybe even Lolo or Dillon. Oh and Master Hand for final boss. Sadly I don't even think Fox and Captain Falcon would return since Nintendo have been trying to avoid F-Zero [except that minigame in Nintendo Land] and Star Fox but who knows.

As for 3rd party fighters, I can see Pac-Man being in this due to the Namco connection and that Miyamoto's favourite gaming character is Pac-Man. While I would have love to see Klonoa and Dr. Don/Dr. Dan, the chances are silm at best. Originally I thought Sonic would be out of the question before that Sega-Nintendo partnership so he might be in it plus he's been in Brawl before.

I definitely don't expect any characters from Capcom and Konami, since the former mainly focuses on Monster Hunter for Nintendo and Resident Evil while was on Nintendo systems is a multiplatform series [plus Street Fighter that I seem very little chance of even Ryu making it in the game] and the latter only cares about Metal Gear Solid, modern Castlevania [so no Simon Belmont] and barely Pro Evolution Soccer. That means for Capcom no Mega Man, no Nathan Spencer from Bionic Commando, no Frank West [he only appeared in an iffy port of Dead Rising on the Wii but he is popular], no Phoenix Wright and no Mike Haggar, also for non-Nintendo consoles no Hiryu and no Dante or Donte [people like the former, Capcom insists on the latter]. For Konami little chance of Snake returning but he is more possible than the others or at least someone like Raiden, no classic Belmonts, no Goemon, no Bill Rizer, no Sparkster, no runner that looks like Mario from Track & Field, no Frogger [how would he work anyway?] and almost impossible for the two characters from Bishi Bashi Special. Also on the Hudson side that is pretty much dead that Konami have the rights to so no Bomberman, no Master Higgins and no Bonk.

Would I have loved to see all these characters in the new Smash Bros? Absolutely [except Donte but he is in PlayStation Allstars anyway]! It's just that sometimes you have to be realistic.

Looks like Nintendo confirmed my new favorite Smash Bros character today. Gonna play the crap out of Mega Man!!!!!

I'm speechless.  I want to hate it, but Wii Fit Trainer looks like she may actually be a decent character.

besides looking bigger than the other characters she seems like she'll bring something fun to the game. don't get me wrong, wtf. wtf indeed.

I was really happy when he was first announced. But I didn't like playing with him at all. Unless they rework him I dont care if he returns. Being that Pikmin 3 is a big deal for the Wii U I'd be surprised if there isn't a character from that one though.
