Title: Highest Owned Games
Post by: monkees19 on February 22, 2013, 05:11:38 AM
So I'm REALLY bored at work so I combed through my collection to see which games I own are the most owned on the site. Fortunately, my collection is small compared to most on the site and I was able to locate the 3 games I own that are most owned by other collectors. They are:

Super Mario World                             22.5%
Super Mario Bros. 3                           21.3%
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past      19.1%

I certainly don't expect anyone else to do the same thing, and maybe some games are more owned but I have a different variation. But I wonder if there's a way to simplify the process so anyone can check it, without having to go to each games page.

9%?  I was expecting more out of you, RFGen.  I'm disappointed.

Don't you need a Silent Service to be an official RF Gen member?

My highest/most owned game is FF X at 13%.

I think this should be a qualification and question at sign up. Those who check no should receive a message thanking them for applying, but stating that will be waitlisted until obtaining one.

IS this something you guys would like to have as a statistic, or just an interesting exercise in pain? :P
Also, I reserve the right to add Silent Service as a statistic.

I've never actually seen a copy of Silent Service (outside of the rental box when I was a kid).  Therefore, I contend that this game is a deliberate falsity created by the RFG "elite" in order to create a class system based around "haves" and "have-nots" (or The Inner Party/Outer Party and Proles). Note the previous posts as the RFG "elites" identify themselves as part of the power structure, where in order to belong one must click on a box to achieve "have" status (and become "real")..  I don't know about you, but I plan on resisting the call to join the ranks of the "Haves."

My only problem with this is that I've noticed Silent Service in the old issues of Computer Gaming World that I've been reading.  However, since the issues are digital, I have no problem believing that RFG has "Smiths" going around and changing things...

Nothing to see here.

A revelation worthy of a Wikileaks release if there ever was one.

This is a man who loves his subs.  I played it quite a lot as a kid, but why do you love this one so much?

Silent Service has become somewhat of a RFG meme, or inside joke. They are just having fun carrying on the tradition.

--Aw goddammit, not you guys again.
