Title: Nice mention of the site & collection tool on the latest AllGen Gamers Podcast
Post by: Kabonk on February 11, 2013, 08:38:48 PM
Didn't see it mentioned anywhere else, was listening to the AllGen Gamers podcast #129 at work today and they had a nice mention of the site and the collection tools. http://www.allgengamers.com/

They were very complimentary, though missed a few features, etc.

Wonder if there is/was a bump in usage.

Don't know what our normal growth is, unfortunately, but 37 members in 6 days isn't bad.

Either I need to know when something warrants a new topic or you guys need to pay attention to the thread of gaming randomness  ;)

I read that post, and thought it was interesting in passing...but this one posed a topical question which only a staff member could easily answer. :P

As i mentioned elsewhere i was shocked when i saw PDorrs name listed on there.

I hadn't heard about their cast before(since i only listen to one...) but i like it enough that i will certainly be checking out future installments. Maybe the past ones too. Not sure on that yet though... 100+ eps would take a lot of listening.

I could have sworn I replied to this topic already...

The Stats Page on the forum has how many new registrations there are each month: http://www.rfgeneration.com/forum/index.php?action=stats
But its hard to tell how many of those registrations are actual new members and not spam bots since it still counts them if they're deleted.
If we continue at the pace we've started for February, we'll have around 160 new accounts this month, which is about 30 more than each of the last 4 months, and I haven't noticed a huge spike in spam accounts.
