Has this ever been successful for a single player game? I could have done without the multiplayer aspect in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and I can't think of an instance where multiplayer would make a Zelda game better. I just don't like the idea of Nintendo tainting the Zelda too much. i would be ok with multiplayer zelda if it was for co-op for example. even some other forms of multiplayer wouldn't be too bad, like sword duels, or mini game competitions using some of the side games from the single player story. That might be true but Xenogears from the start was broke up into 6 parts we got 4 of them under two names Xenogears and Xenosaga so it wasn't like square holding the rights stopped them then and if Namco has the rights to Xenosaga I doubt that will stop them now, new name same story line. It would even be pretty easy to work Xenoblade into the Xenogears galaxy if they wanted to. |
