Title: Ebay UK is messed up
Post by: Arrrhalomynn on February 03, 2005, 12:31:29 PM
http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8164691158&ssPageName=ADME:X:ON:NL:2

I was hoping to get this for maybe 7,5 pounds. I remember it going for less than 10 pounds a few times. But this Eggplant guy bids 35 bucks on it!

The name sounds familiair. That might be from seeing him at ebay before, but maybe from somewhere else. Does anybody know who it is?

Strange stuff seems to just happen on eBay, for instance the other day I saw Fantastic Dizzy on the SMS go for £20, which I bought not so long ago for a fiver.  I also saw Chase HQ go for £12.50, for no real reason (it usually goes for around 3 quid).

Could be just one of those things.

Yeah. Ebay uk is a mad house. Which is good in some cases, but also utterly confusing.

Courier crisis is one of those semi rare saturn games that don't show up too often and go for a fiver one day and for 50 the next. And I need 13 more games in that category, which sucks. I don't understand why that guy just won't wait till it'll pop up again.

I'm just glad that I'm not collecting for the Euro Saturn.  Damn near every auction I see from Ebay UK is high like that.

btw, I think Eggplant Casserole is a member over at DP.
