Anybody find or buy any new video game stuff lately?

I haven't been able to make it out much lately because of various reasons, but I did find a game on my own shelf that I hadn't played in about a thousand years: Quake III.

Hopefully I can get out this week and do some real hunting.  Anybody have any good finds yet this month?

No interesting finds, but I did have a very nice sale. I bought jewels of the oracle for the saturn fof 4 euros and sold it for 104. That was pretty cool.

I haven't found much of anything this month.  I went to a huge subdivision sale last weekend and only came away with David Beckhams Soccer, an Aladdin Tiger handheld, some sort of Gauntlet travel board game that I'll have to post pictures of and a CD rack for $.50.

A Gauntlet travel game?  This I gotta see, or at least hear some more about.  Any company names or copyright years on it?  You know anything about this, Laurel?

I don't know about copyright dates, but I do know that it was made by Tiger, and it is part of thier klix line.  I can't properly describe it, so I'll try to get some pictures up by the end of the week.

the hunt has been pretty thin of late. this past weekens all I managed to dig up was Tom & Jerry for the NES and Hangman and Connect Four boxed for the TI-99.

As I just posted on the old forums, got a boxed SNES with SF2, an extra pad, instructions etc, plus a C64 (original version) with a bunch of games, couple of tape decks, joystick & so on for £19 the lot, which was pleasing :)

Where did you get all that?

@Den, it will probably be quicker if you post a picture of that Gauntlet game.  I'm still not even sure how to post my pictures up here.  :-[

We don't have an attachment option yet.  Would that be something you people would use, if I added it to the boards?

I forgot, last weekend but one, I bought a boxed A5000 computer, with monitor sadly not working, but it works with my PC monitor anyway, and a small amount of software, for £10 :)

@Nep I think that would be a great addition to the boards.  I vote yay.

Once I get my other PC back and working (power supply died the other day), I'll try to get that added to the boards.

I had a pretty good C64 score last night. I picked up about  75 disks loaded with games for $7 bucks. there's probably about 300 games between them. I haven't tested them yet though.

Would those games be original or bootlegs?

yesterday I had a few small finds. for the NES I got Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends and Ren & Stimpy Buckaroos. For the SNES I found a Quickshot arcade stick. For Game Gear I found the snap on magnifier boxed.

also, Toys R US is still having that $7.99 sale on ale Rzone budget PS1 and PS2 titles. I picled up UFC THrowdown, WDL Thunder Tanks and Kelly Slater Pro Surfer.

Will  sell Bubble Bobble as it's a duplicate, might try and sell NZ Story too altough I don't have one un my collcetion, unsure yet.

Will keep Triv and Thunderblade, sell all the Megadrvive games, and maybe bundle the PSX with all my PS duplicates and sell that.

I picked up a buttload of NES games and the Acclaim wireless controllers for less than $20 USD. Also scored about 10 Saturn games (not sports titles!) and my first 2 Sega CD games ever for about $15.

I found a brand new Symphony of the night for $15 at Blockbuster.  I was super-happy becuase my old one was broken.  Now I even have the manual and stuf. yay.
